Random Act of Kindness day

 Today is random act of kindness day and we had to do a random kind thing in our bubble, take a picture of it and then post it on our blogs. I made coffee for my mum.

 For this Paralympic activity we had to find the cities/ countries that have hosted the Paralympic games. All of the cities names are at the bottom of the slide with a letter beside it, and we have to fill in the white dot that the country is with the letter beside it. I don't know if I got it right or not so...

For math we had to create a DLO (Digital Learning Object) that had five problems on then, and for each problem we had to use one of the strategies given to us to solve it, teaching the reader how to use those strategies.

 For writing we had to write a persuasive piece of writing, about why children should or should't be paid to go to school. Or about and forest being cut down to build an amusement park.7

It all began with his mind. This was where his true power lay.

The slightest idea would burst magnificently into life at the slightest twitch. If he imagined fire, flames would appear. If he imagined happiness, people around him would smile. If he imagined pain…

He had learnt to control his mind over the years, manipulating his incredible powers to serve whatever purpose. Today, though, he was angry. If he imagined anger, chaos would ensue…

He was the one that brought wonder and peace to this city, he swore an oath to never use his powers for evil, but yet people still distrust him. Some people think he is trying to control us, but all he ever did was help this city become only so wonderful… well that was two years ago, now we lived in fear, if we ever fall out of order something bad will happen. Some people lived their lives running and hiding. You want to know how it happened? I’ll tell you, it was two years ago, there was a plot to kill the magician. People who are jealous of his powers also fear it. So they plotted to kill him. They broke into his house, and murdered him in his sleep, but from that day on, the magic has turned angry and sad. The people who were behind his murdered were cursed, and turned into nothing more but mere white mice. The magic has turned wild, they casted a barrier so no one can leave, and crazy things happen every day. But the council have a solution, a loophole, a way to fix everything...

Writing activity

This picture I drew on google drawing.

The sky was dark blue and faded into a purplish color, the waterfalls dropped down into infinity.The airships were flying in and out of the city like birds. The low gravity pulls things upwards. People could fly through the air, but no one knows how they contained the gravity inside the city. The stars hung above and sparkled like crystals. They were scattered around like pieces of shattered glass.

Stranded on a deserted island DLO

This week for reading, we are researching about what to do if we were stranded on a deserted island.

1.  Find drinkable water

2. Build shelter

3. Build a fire

4. Find food 

5. Make a rescue signal

6. Wait for rescue 

Avoid white and yellow berries,

Avoid mushrooms and fungus,

Don’t drink sea water because salt will just make you more thirsty and it won’t hydrate you, and stay away from the beach because the sand can absorb sunlight and the sand might be very hot and it will dehydrate you. And it is very important to keep calm and not panic when you're stranded but I know it will be impossible not to, so if you are stranded try get some work done while crying that saves a lot of time.

(You can build a rescue signal before everything else if you want)

Boil your water before drinking it (if possible), because you don’t know what kind of germs the water have in them.

Island from the Wayfinder

 In the tropical island, the leaves on the lush palm trees rustle as the warm wind blows.

Three wooden canoes rolled out on the glittering waster of the sea.

The lush plants sparkled as the island was being showered by a gentle rain.

The trees were rich with colorful and juicy fruits and the moist soil was rich in nutrients.

The field was full of multi-colored flowers that were well-provided in pollen.

Everyone waves as the giant wooden boat leaves on a journey to find a new island in the endless sea.

The creatures woke up and breathed in icy air, as the glorious sun beamed on the snowy mountains.

The gold fishes swam around in the glistening lagoon peacefully, as leaf genitally falls on the calm water.
